Did they just do that?

There are some things that you just do not do when you are out to dinner.  The other day I had a table of three that seemed like a good crowd of people.  They ordered dinner and when they were done I cleared their plates.  The table next to them just got up and they did not finish their desert.  Before I could go over and clean the table I noticed my other table reach over and take the desert right of the table who just left!  You do not do that, that is a gross thing to do.

how cheap can people be

Today was another great day at work, if only you can sense the sarcasm in that.  People will do anything to get a free meal.  I am a bartender at my place of work as well, and of course it being friday and everything we were busy.  This couple sits at my bar top and orders all these drinks then decides to get dinner.  They get two chicken alfredos.  The meals come out and one of them says that they wanted penne pasta instead of fettucine, it comes with fettucine.  So my manager takes it back and gives them ziti in stead on penne.  Penne and ziti are basically the same thing, and they hard a heartattack.  They threatened to call corporate and everything.  So of course my manager takes care of the 90 dollar bill.  They left me no tip and when they leave I saw them give each other a high five.  People will say and do anything to get out of paying for things that they ordered.

TIPS

TIPS stands for "to insure proper service".  When you have people that you work with come in for dinner, you usually get excited because you know that they know how to tip.  So I have 2 people that work there come in the other night with two of their friends.  The racked up a 130 dollar tab including the 25 % discount that they got.  I expected at minimum 20 dollars, and even that was low.  They left a wopping 5 dollars on the table.  They work there so they know what a good tip is!  I am going to have a few words with them when they come into work next.
